Ximena has deep knowledge and experience in corporate and legal transactions in the Central American market.

Ximena was previously Corporate Counsel at a Central American firm, LatamLex (formerly “Guandique Segovia y Quintanilla”), representing different multinationals with important presence in El Salvador, where she became proficient in the establishment and operations of Central American businesses. Ximena has vast experience in the Banking sector, and she served as Legal Coordinator to one of the biggest banks in El Salvador, Banco Cuscatlán, S.A., which was acquired by Citibank. N.A. 

She has worked with different banking institutions in the region and her personal practice was focused mainly on mortgage and real estate matters. For the last 2 years, she has acquired much experience in the US and cross-border markets as a legal associate at Amzak Capital Management, LLC, including a strong focus on US real estate, loan syndications, M&A and bankruptcy transactions.

Ximena has a Degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Salvadorian University “Doctor Jose Matias Delgado”, obtaining the license to practice law in El Salvador, and is licensed by the Supreme Court as a Public Notary for the Republic of El Salvador. She has completed a Legal English course in Tulane University, as well as a Certified Postgraduate in International Business from the educational institute of El Salvador, “FEPADE.”

Ximena is fluent in Spanish and English.
